This classic tale of Scrooge, Tiny Tim, and Bob Cratchit, was filled with lively songs and dances. During the show, Scrooge is visited by three ghosts on a snowy Christmas Eve.These ghostly visits reveal Scrooge's past, present, and future to him and fill him with new hopes and joys in the Christmas season. The Show was voted "Best theater event of the year" in Manchester by the Hippo Press readers and has become one of the most popular shows at the Palace Theater.
The Palace Theater production featured over 50 actors, including Phillip Pineno. Phillip, a New York City resident actor and musician, made his seconcd appearance in the role of Bob Cratchit. He previously appeared at the Palace Theater in the role of Oscar in Sweet Charity.
Some of Phillip Pineno's other theater roles include: Tateh in Ragtime at the Pittsburgh Playhouse with director Michael Rupert, Steward 2/Sailor in Anything Goes with director Roger Rees, and Ensemble in Bloody, Bloody Andrew Jackson with director Alex Timbers, at the Williamstown Theatre Festival, Paul in Patterns at the Player’s Club, New York City, The Baker in Into the Woods at the Bristol Riverside Theatre, Lecturer in Reefer Madness, and Dwight Eisenhower in the First Lady Suite at the Pittsburgh Playhouse.
Phillip has appeared in several episodes of television show As The World Turns. He also had starring roles in independent film projects including: Stuart in Bummer directed by Blake LaRue, Boy in The Eye directed by Ian Karell, Eli in Roommates directed by Jon Curotola, and Orion in Orion’s Plot directed by Aniela Coveleski.
